The Roll Model® Method is a soft-tissue conditioning based self-care fitness format that uses Yoga Tune Up® balls for self-myofascial release. These unique therapy balls are both pliable and grippy, allowing them to penetrate and grab different layers of myo-fascia, much like a deep tissue massage.
This workshop will combine self-massage techniques and breath work to help reduce pain, prevent injuries and improve mobility. You will learn about anatomy and self-care techniques, empowering you to take healing into your own hands. No yoga experience required, not suitable for pregnant mummas.
All props for the workshop will be provided, Yoga Tune Up® balls will be available for purchase on the day for $30 pair
Nic has been teaching yoga for 6 years, and loves combining her knowledge of anatomy and functional yoga with traditional practices of mindfulness, pranayama and asana. She's trained in power and Vinyasa yoga, yin yoga and is also a certified Roll Model® Method practitioner and Yoga Tune Up® Teacher.
Her classes will challenge you to let go of expectations, keep an open mind and not take yourself too seriously. Nic’s teaching is inspired by the principle that yoga is supposed to make you feel good.
